For applications in tool, die and mould making, from precision components to heavy duty cutting, the M3 – 5AX sets a new standard. Like no other machine in this segment, this machine stands out with its great weight, twin drives and extremely stable guideways. The M3 thus fulfils all the requirements of heavy duty cutting and is also suited to high cutting rates.

The twin drive on the Y axis, with a drive power of 2 x 4 kW, ensures high rapid traverse speeds (up to 48 m/min) and feed forces. At the same time, the A axis of the rotary table is fitted with two high-precision servomotors (2 x 4 kW) and a high precision rotary encoder (0.0001°). 

The substantial 21 tonnes of weight of the M3 underscores Hwacheon’s philosophy when it comes to the construction and production of high-quality machines for tool, mould, and die making. 

In order to guarantee high quality standards, M3 -5AX design and manufacture the spindles, machine bed and rotary table ourselves.

–          Standard: 20,000 rpm with 22 kW / 118 Nm

–          Optionally: 24,000 U/min with 37 kW / 221 Nm

–          Optionally: 14,000 rpm with 37 kW / 303 Nm (High-Torque)
